ALPHYNIQ / YOUR PRIVACY

Privacy Policy

For AlphynIQ, Alphyn Shield, and Alphyn Guardian.

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Our approach: Security products should explain what they access and why. This policy describes categories of information that may be processed when specific services and protections are enabled. Data handling differs by product, platform, permissions, and feature availability.

1. Who we are and what this covers

AlphynIQ LLC (“AlphynIQ,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) develops cybersecurity products and provides related services. This Privacy Policy applies to the AlphynIQ website, Alphyn Shield (mobile device security), Alphyn Guardian (family digital safety, including the parent application and child-device companion), and our associated services. Where a feature is unavailable or not enabled, its corresponding data processing does not occur merely because it is described here. Product features and permissions can differ between Android, iOS, account type and release.

2. Information that may be processed across our services

Depending on the services used, settings enabled and permissions granted, categories can include: (a) account and contact information such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, household relationships, support messages, and subscription details; (b) device and technical information such as device identifiers, device model, operating system, app versions, network information, IP address, crash diagnostics, error and performance logs; (c) security observations such as malicious-domain detections, suspicious URLs, app and device security posture, operating-system and authentication configuration, security scores, alerts, and remediation status; (d) settings and activity metadata necessary to enforce user-selected protections; (e) communications or associated risk indicators only when a specific supported feature and its permissions/connection permit the check; and (f) family safety information explained below. Information may be processed locally on a device or transmitted to AlphynIQ systems or service providers where a feature requires it. We do not imply that every category is collected by every app or in every configuration.

3. Alphyn Shield — mobile security data

Alphyn Shield features may process device security observations, malware and app-risk signals, suspicious website/domain or link indicators, phishing and scam warnings, network connection metadata, VPN configuration and connection diagnostic information, and findings from privacy, identity, account, and authentication checks. Optional email-protection features, if enabled and supported, may need access to selected connected-mailbox metadata, message indicators, sender details, and suspicious links to detect phishing. Optional call or messaging protections may process phone-number reputation indicators or message risk signals subject to operating-system restrictions and user authorization. VPN features route traffic through the configured VPN gateway when enabled; the gateway may necessarily handle IP addresses and connection metadata. Browser protection is a separate control where supported. We aim to avoid collecting message bodies, full browsing histories, email contents, or other sensitive material unnecessarily; the exact processing depends on the enabled feature and implementation.

4. Alphyn Guardian — children and family safety

Alphyn Guardian may process parent and authorized caregiver account details; child profiles and age-related settings supplied by a parent; enrolled-device identifiers; screen-time and app-use metrics; installed-app metadata; enabled rules and restrictions; website/content risk indicators; alerts and security status; location data when the family authorizes location safety features; and safe-zone definitions and entry/exit events when geofencing is enabled. Supported AI-assisted family-safety features may assess risky communication or activity indicators when permitted. We intend to prioritize meaningful risk signals rather than excessive surveillance. Parents or legal guardians are responsible for providing required permissions and obtaining any legally required consents; children should be informed in an age-appropriate manner about protections that are enabled. Some features are unavailable on certain operating systems. Alphyn Guardian is designed for parent/guardian management; the account service is not intended for children to independently register without a parent or guardian.

5. Why we use information

We process information as applicable to provide and secure accounts; pair and manage authorized devices and household settings; operate VPN, browsing, malware and content protections; detect and explain security or family-safety risks; deliver configured alerts, recovery assistance and recommendations; maintain reliability and prevent abuse; answer support and privacy requests; and comply with applicable laws. Optional product analytics, diagnostics, marketing or connected integrations should be governed by relevant controls and permissions. We do not use child safety information to target children with personalized advertising.

6. Who information may be shared with

Depending on the deployment and enabled integrations, necessary information may be disclosed to: (a) infrastructure, hosting, storage, database, networking and monitoring vendors that process data on our behalf; (b) push notification and platform operators, such as Apple and Google, to deliver notifications and maintain app services; (c) authentication, identity and account-support providers; (d) authorized parents, co-parents and guardians within the family account, consistent with their permissions; (e) specialized security or reputation services when needed to check threats; (f) payment processors or app-store platforms for purchases and subscriptions; and (g) regulators, law enforcement, courts or other parties when required by applicable law, to protect rights and safety, or in a lawful business transfer. Third-party providers may have their own privacy notices for services they independently operate. We do not describe service-provider processing as a sale of personal information. We do not knowingly sell children's personal information.

7. Permissions and sensitive data

Each app requests permissions only where necessary for a specific feature. Depending on platform, this can include device security or app visibility, notifications, location, VPN/network settings, and supported communication or account integrations. Location collection, if enabled, may involve precise or background location, subject to operating-system permissions and application implementation. Sensitive access, including any SMS, call log, accessibility, notification or email permission, requires feature-specific explanation and permission when used. The app should present required prominent disclosures and consent before collection when applicable. Turning off permissions can limit relevant functionality. This webpage does not replace in-app disclosure or consent prompts.

8. Security and international processing

We use safeguards intended to protect information, including access controls, restricted permissions, encryption in transit where supported, security monitoring and administrative controls. No storage or transmission method is guaranteed to be completely secure. Information may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where authorized vendors operate, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

9. Retention and deletion

We retain personal information only while reasonably needed to deliver requested services, maintain account security, meet legitimate operational and legal obligations, investigate incidents, or resolve disputes. Retention varies by data type and applicable product configuration; security events, operational logs, account records, and location history need not share one retention period. On verified account deletion requests, we delete or de-identify associated personal data unless preservation is legally required or otherwise permitted; backups and provider systems may have bounded deletion processing periods. Users can request account and associated data deletion using the Privacy Requests contact method below. A separate in-app account deletion mechanism and web deletion instructions may be required for apps with account creation; this policy alone does not provide that functionality.

10. Your choices and rights

Depending on local law, users may request access to, correction of, deletion of, or information about their personal data. You can control certain protections through app settings, disconnect supported integrations, manage device permissions through the operating system, and request deletion of your account. We may verify identity and parental/guardian authority before acting on requests involving a child's data. Some rights have legal exceptions.

11. Children’s privacy

Alphyn Guardian is intended to be configured and managed by authorized adults for their households. Where a feature relates to children's information, we seek to limit processing to family-safety and device-protection purposes, restrict access to authorized family roles, and avoid unrelated profiling or targeted advertising. Guardians can contact us to review or request deletion of child profile information, subject to applicable law. Availability of features does not by itself establish compliance with child-privacy laws; permissions, disclosures and product implementation must also meet applicable requirements.

12. Website and external links

Our website may record basic server and security logs and may use website-hosting services required to deliver pages. If cookies or third-party analytics are deployed, they should be disclosed and controlled as applicable. Website pages may link to third-party websites, including app stores or social platforms; we are not responsible for their independent privacy practices.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our products, service providers, legal requirements or security practices. The current version will be posted on this page with its effective date. Material changes may require additional notice or consent where law requires.

14. Privacy requests and contact

For privacy questions, data access, correction, parental inquiries, or account/data deletion requests, contact AlphynIQ through our website Contact page. Please identify which product you use and the type of request; do not include passwords or sensitive security information in your initial message. We may request verification before disclosing or deleting data.
