Install Alphyn Shield from its official Google Play listing when available, launch it and follow the in-app setup. Review each requested permission before enabling it. Available protections depend on your Android version and enabled permissions.

Check that your requested protection mode is enabled in the app. Android VPN services and Private DNS can conflict with other network protection tools. If websites do not load, review your current VPN and Private DNS configuration, then retry with one compatible configuration at a time. Never disable essential protection without understanding the change.

Keep Android and Alphyn Shield updated. Check the app's security status and follow any in-app remediation guidance. If a warning persists, contact support with the app version, Android version and non-sensitive diagnostic details.

Use the same Google Play account used for your purchase. Look for Restore Purchases or Refresh Plan in the app if available; otherwise contact support with a purchase reference. Manage or cancel recurring Google Play subscriptions through Google Play, not by uninstalling the app.

Set up the parent account first, then follow the Guardian pairing steps on the child device. Some Android protection features require notification access, accessibility or other device-level permissions. Grant permissions only after reviewing the Android prompts.

Open the parent controls, select the correct child profile and review the daily limit, allowed hours and bedtime schedule. Confirm the child device is connected and receiving updated rules.

Check that the relevant child-device protection is active and its permissions remain enabled. If you also use a third-party VPN or Private DNS, check for incompatibilities before changing any settings.

Review the child profile and enabled notification/location permissions. Data and alert availability depend on device permissions, platform behavior and connectivity; never assume a missing alert means a child is completely protected.
